Grand Opening Support and Media Relations
THE SITUATION
Biscuitville Fresh Southern® is undertaking a significant growth strategy with new locations throughout North and South Carolina, and Virginia.
RLF’S APPROACH
Starting in 2021, Biscuitville engaged RLF’s services and expertise to support restaurant grand openings, as well as overall media relations and community relations efforts. Seeking to increase attendance and generate additional media coverage around their restaurant grand openings, RLF provided pre-grand opening outreach, including alerting the media, inviting key community members and visiting markets in advance to distribute Free Biscuit coupons/Free Breakfast for a Year® fliers to local businesses and organizations.
Additionally, RLF staffed the grand openings, coordinated day-of media interviews, hosted the ribbon-cutting, welcomed community members and manned Biscuitville’s Free Breakfast for a Year® contest. RLF handled all post-grand opening follow-up, sharing photos, sales numbers and color from the day with media.

RLF’s work in partnership with the Biscuitville marketing team has generated an increase in attendance, media mentions and excitement from local communities. RLF is responsible for pre-grand opening and post-grand opening media outreach, as well as day-of support on site.
